Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a bilingual Property Assistant to join their client's team at an affordable housing community in San Jose, CA. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with Tax Credit (LIHTC) guidelines and providing exceptional service to residents. The position offers a pay range of $22-$25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with resident income certifications and annual recertifications in accordance with LIHTC guidelines.
  • Conduct third-party verifications of income, assets, and expenses.
  • Accurately calculate household income and rent limits based on program requirements.
  • Maintain organized and compliant resident files.
  • Provide bilingual (Spanish/English) support to residents and applicants.
  • Respond to resident inquiries and assist with leasing and move-in processes.
  • Support the Property Manager with administrative tasks and compliance reporting.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in affordable housing or property management.
  • Familiarity with LIHTC regulations and income qualification processes.
  • Strong math and documentation skills for income calculations.
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Vietnamese and English (required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (e.g., Yardi preferred).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday, during standard business hours. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required for resident events or deadlines.

Benefits

The role offers a competitive hourly wage, with a minimum pay of $22 per hour and a maximum pay of $25 per hour.

This is an on-site position at a residential community in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and dedicated to supporting the community and its residents.
